Princess Margaret Home Lottery

The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (The PMCF) raises funds to support one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world. The Princess Margaret raised $112.1 million in net fundraising and lottery revenue in the year ending March 31, 2018 (a record year) and had $31.6 million in investment income.

We enable Future Care Now by raising funds that accelerate cancer research, education, and clinical care benefitting patients at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, across Canada, and around the world.

Gib-San has proudly contributed to the Princess Margaret Grand Prize Show Homes through the installation of both custom swimming pools and hot tubs. We are grateful for the continued opportunity to participate in supporting such a worthy cause. 

David Foster Foundation

The David Foster Foundation is dedicated to providing financial support to Canadian families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants. In addition to helping families with their non-medical expenses, the Foundation strives to increase public awareness and education about the importance of becoming a registered organ donor in Canada and the United States.

Our Gib-San team actively pursues initiatives within the communities we serve.

One example being, the Dundas Street Grille. We have been patrons of this establishment for over 30 years. The pandemic was incredibly hard on the food and beverage industry. In an effort to support this struggling business, we purchased hundreds of meals weekly, donating them to local women’s shelters, the Haven on Queensway, local churches, our team and others.

Gib-San gives philanthropic contributions to the following Toronto hospitals. Etobicoke General (for their new critical care tower for cardiology, respiratory and neurodiagnostic services), St. Joseph and Mount Sinai Hospitals (fundraising). In addition Gib-San supports the Princess Margaret Hospital in its fight against cancer. We have built the swimming pools for the Lottery Grand Prize Oakville homes.

FOOD2FIGHT – Gib-San joined Liberty Entertainment Group, and CIBO Wine Bar to provide 2500 meals to front line workers at Mount Sinai Health (Toronto) and Bridgeport Active Healthcare hospitals. This program recognized front line workers who have been working tirelessly in our fight against COVID-19. Other partners supporting this program included Eventscape, Schneider Family Foundation, St. Michaels College School, DPM Energy and Diamond Lawyers.

Gib-San Pools is the Title Sponsor of the Toronto Catholic District School Swim Invitational. 1500 swimmers from 35 schools across the GTA compete.

“Step into Swim” … a lifesaving skill
This program is aimed at assisting people to learn how to swim. We work with recreational facilities to help those who need financial assistance for learn to swim programs. We believe the ability to swim is an essential life skill that provides both lifesaving skills and family fun.

The WaterStone Foundation is a Toronto-based charity dedicated to improving access to treatment, support, and awareness for individuals struggling with eating disorders. Founded to address critical gaps in care, the organization provides financial assistance, education, and specialized programs—helping ensure early intervention and better recovery outcomes. Through initiatives like its Student Support Program, the Foundationdelivers free counselling and resources to those who need it most, making a meaningful impact on individuals and families across the community.
